Guiding words/ideas:
Enjoying playing in and with the mind; swimming in the flow of information; process not product; not using information as proof of being “better.”
Channeled guidance:
Amidst all of the intellectual activity in this card, there is a content human being. They are content because they are allowing themselves to enjoy the play of the mind and the ability of the mind to absorb information from so many different sources. They’re absorbing auditorily through their ears, kinesthetically through writing, and visually through reading and engaging with the computer.
They are hungry for information, but not in a way that creates any kind of grasping or pushing. They are simply swimming in the flow of information. The seeker has a youthful mindset, which is so helpful in the sometimes-serious suit of swords. The seeker plays in the mind and with the mind. They are able to gather information without concretizing anything or falling into the traps of dogma or “expert” mentality. And they are also unconcerned with what they might do with knowledge. This exploration is about process, not product.
So this card encourages the reader/recipient to play in the mind in the same way that the sweet Seeker of Swords is playing: gently, openly, and allowing for their inquisitive nature to bring lightness into their day. This Seeker invites you to enjoy the gathering of information just because you can, not to prove that you are smarter or better than anyone else; not to serve as a means to an end, but just for the sheer joy of being human and working with one’s brain.
Plant and metal guidance:
Madder Root (reddish-brown background): We are warm and gentle, and we hold and assist you as your tempo slows.
Chokeberry (dark purple swirls in thought bubbles): Our energy expands and contracts as needed, and we encourage you to do the same. We offer a rich balm for your wounds and a burst of energy to be used when you need it.
Pokeberry (pink headphones): Our energy is fast and strong. You need only a small amount to revitalize and cleanse. Too much will overload your systems.

Black Walnut (Dark brown hair and sword/pen): The strength of our magic lies in our ability to clear space and provide opportunities for recharging and resetting.
Acorn cap (grey desk/table): Like a gentle pat on the head, we offer up slow-moving energy to open the senses and awaken the mind.
