Ten of Pentacles

Guiding words/ideas:

Locating oneself in this planet; everything is connected and needed; you have all that you need; slow down to tap into sense of connectivity and abundance; this planet is the home you have always longed for; allow components of world to move in and out through skin and energetic system (with appropriate boundaries); an invitation to work with intuitive self and inherent power.

Channeled guidance:

The Ten of Pentacles looks and feels a bit like the Seven of Pentacles. There is a figure seated on a wonderful collection of magical crystalline spheres in the earth below. The view in this card, however, is more expansive than in the Seven of Pentacles. The figure is now located in a large landscape looking out at a horizon with a beautiful and complicated sky and possibly water. The huge perspective is so much about locating oneself on this vast and beautiful planet. And I say “in” and not “on’ because the planet includes the atmosphere around it. It includes everything that it takes for a being to exist: air, water, land, the sun, other planets, energy, all other beings. Everything is connected and needed. This card is about tapping into the deep knowledge and truth that you are one with everything and that there is incredible bounty here on this planet. You have absolutely everything that you need.

To understand this, one needs to be slow, possibly even silent for moments here and there. This helps one to tap into the sense of connectivity and abundance. But once you start feeling it and start practicing, you will be able to move around in your planet system with an ever-present feeling of connection. This is the home you’ve always longed for. This is the love you have always needed. It is right here in your heart and on this planet. Allow yourself to feel the immensity of this knowledge.

None of this means that things will be easy or simple. For, in fact, the vaster a system is, the more complex it is. You are a precious part of that complexity.

Allow yourself to feel the satisfaction of these statements. Allow yourself to fully live in this system with this beautiful planet. Allow yourself to be. Allow yourself to feel your skin as a semi-permeable membrane. Your energetic system is also semi-permeable. Allow all the components of your world to move in and out. Create clear and beautiful boundaries for safety and clarity.

This card is also a call to working with your intuitive self, with your magical nature. It is an invitation to understand and feel the power and agency that you have—power that may not be visible or understood but that you know is an essential part of your being and an avenue for connection with all other beings.

Plant and metal guidance:

Copper oxide in black walnut (light blue crystalline spheres with dark brown details and edges): I magnify the properties of whatever plants I touch or impact.

Black walnut (dark brown of figure): The strength of our magic lies in our ability to clear space and provide opportunities for recharging and resetting.

Wild grape (purple of water and in sky): We are the bubbly magicians of the edges (of forests, our fields and our minds). We share with you our positivity, creativity and trickster capabilities.

Coreopsis (golden yellow in sky): We are here to smooth out any sharp edges and to aid in opening hearts.
