Channeled guidance:
This beautiful card is a wonderful continuation of ideas and practices from the Six of Pentacles. An overarching theme is slowing down, slowing one’s physical self down in order to ground and connect. When this happens, deep exchange can occur, and the exchange that is being represented in the visuals of this card is between a human and the energy of the planet.
The human depicted is sitting in a cross-legged position. They are quiet, calm, and slowly engaging with the surface that they are resting on, which is the planet. Seven crystalline structures are present and activated below them. Indeed, the material that creates this magical formation is copper, which does come from below the surface of the planet and has tremendous capacity for enhancing and magnifying energy. So this human is in energetic exchange with the planet. They are allowing their tempo and their pace to be impacted by the very planet that gave life to them and sustains life for them. As a human, it is easy to hover on the surface of the planet at a pace that is faster than necessary and not terribly healthy or sustainable. And from time to time, it becomes necessary to adjust that pace. Doing so allows for greater health mentally, physically, and energetically. It also allows one to connect not just with this planet but with other planets and other entities. So it is also an opportunity and an invitation to engage spiritually.
One can do this with practices that are already established, or one can create their own unique way of connecting. Again, the first step in this practice is to slow down. It is a misconception that slowing down hinders capacity. That is a myth. When one is aligned, then one is in their greatest capacity, able to work mentally with clarity and precision, able to physically heal oneself and allow the harmonization of all internal systems, and able to fully connect with all other beings. So even if it is tempting to rush through life, know that this training and these habits are not conducive to proper alignment for human beings in this world. It is only the systems in which you find yourself that have trained you to rush. Slowing down can connect you to your essential human nature.
