Seeker of Pentacles

Guiding words/ideas:

Gentleness, desire to connect with and learn from other creatures; learning as an act of pleasure and connection

Channeled guidance:

This card, the Seeker of Pentacles, has such a gentle feel to it. The young human is crouched, peaceful, and curious, reaching out to a snail or some sort of creature. Part of that creature is the Pentacle itself, a symbol of earth, of worldly goods, of our earthly connection. So this card is an invitation to either see oneself in this young figure or to be inspired by figures in your life who have the same energy and openness.

They learn through connection, and they are not concerned with what to do with these connections. They are not thinking of their fellow earthlings as “natural resources” or “natural materials.” They understand that they are a part of nature, part of this planet. So in connecting with and learning from other beings, they are also connecting to and learning about ourselves. They may be thinking, “What do I have in common with this other creature? How are we related? What bonds do we have that I am unaware of? How can we be friends? How can we love one another?”

With questions like these, it is easy to understand why this card feels so calm and exists in an energetic realm of balance. It feels good to just be with this card, to absorb the energy of the card and feel that light, effervescent quality of hope and openness. One can feel the deep satisfaction and joy that comes with the qualities of the Seeker of Pentacles.
