Guiding words/ideas:
A generous being; abundance mindset; occupations of equity/healing/guiding; not rushing; allowing teachings and opportunities to come to you at their own pace; being open to receive; slowing one’s pace to match those of other beings (other animals, trees, rocks, soil); feeling the love available in each moment.
Channeled guidance:
The Mentor of Pentacles is a generous being. Every step they take is a connection with the Earth. Every breath they take in is in collaboration with trees and plants. They understand that they live in a world of abundance, and they’re interested in sharing not only the abundance but also their mindset and their grounded and centered heart.
The Mentor of Pentacles may engage in this work in obvious ways by distributing food and goods to people who have less than they do. But they might also be a teacher, helping people to relax, be open, and feel the abundance that is around them. They might be a coach, teaching other beings how to connect into the vast knowledge and networks of the planet. They might be a spiritual guide in human form. They are at peace with their skills. They are not in a hurry. They accept that sharing and teaching are only part of what’s required for goods or information to pass from one hand, one heart to another.
On the other end of this exchange, the receiver of knowledge or goods must be open to receiving, and the Mentor of Pentacles will patiently wait, for they have nothing to fear and nowhere to get to. They’re quite content right where they are, offering openly and without judgment. If another being is not able to receive from the mentor, the mentor does not take this personally or see this other being as less evolved or below them in any way. They understand that the networks on the planet are vast and complex, and everything comes to fruition in its own time—not only plants, flowers, fruits, and vegetables, but also human beings. They understand that there is only so much that they can control about the timing of an openness to receptivity in others.
This is a being that many people like to be around. They are so grounded and calm that they regulate other beings. They are able to shift their vibration and pace to match other beings on the planet—other animals, trees, rocks, soil. Because of this, they may appear to interact, to speak, and to move at a much slower pace than other human beings. In fact, it can be interesting to notice which humans are operating at a slower pace. Be aware of this and be curious about what it feels to be in the presence of one such as this.
Maybe you aspire to become a Mentor of Pentacles. If so, I encourage you to not rush in these aspirations but to allow information and opportunities to come to you. Try to remain open and grounded. What needs to come your way will come. If it is your path to become a Mentor of Pentacles, all you need to do is ground and open yourself, and be aware of all the things that will help you in these aspirations. They will fall into your path in the same way that very ripe fruit simply falls into your hand. It says, “I’m ready.”
This can also be true for knowledge, experience, and opportunities. When the time is right, they will fall into your hands and say, “I am ready. Are you?” Be honest if an opportunity falls into your hands and you’re not quite ready. Be honest about this. Other opportunities will arise when you are ready, and it will be less effortful. Things will be more aligned.
Just thinking about the Mentor of Pentacles can bring a smile to one’s face. This being creates calm and sweetness all around them. Allow yourself to feel the love that is available to you in this very moment as you look upon or absorb the energy of this card.
Plant and metal guidance:
Copper oxide dropped in black walnut (light blue crystalline sphere decorating the Mentor’s shirt): I magnify the properties of whatever plants touch or impact.
Black walnut (dark and medium brown in hair, skin and facial details of Mentor): The strength of our magic lies in our ability to clear space and provide opportunities for recharging and resetting.
Acorn cap (grey in background): Like a gentle pat on the head, we offer up slow-moving energy to open the senses and awaken the mind.
Goldenrod (yellow of basket): Our tiny, golden, blossoms create needed halos around fields and open spaces. You can allow our energy to bring divine energy to your open spaces as well, to rest in your auras and to bring you light and hope.
