Guiding words/ideas:

An offering and an invitation; hand of Source (or one’s higher self) offering a talisman to connect you with the planet; you are the Earth because you are made from earthly elements; an invitation to come home to oneself on this planet; in this home, you are loved and are a part of everything.

Channeled guidance:

Like the other cards that are the first in their suit, this Ace of is an offering and an invitation into the world that the suit represents, into the element that is embedded in this suit. The Pentacles exist and explore in the element of earth.

The hand depicted is offering a pentacle. A pentacle is merely a talisman, a token of some sort. And this talisman is created from black walnut ink. It looks and feels like soil. It is warm, beautiful, inviting, and literally grounding. And the hand coming from above might be the hand of the source, the divine, God, or whatever word you are comfortable with. It also might be the hand of your higher self reaching out to you to connect you with all that you know and all that you are. And the hand is saying, “Take this talisman, take this beautiful round brown symbol, take it into your heart.”

The sky is dramatic and beautiful. The hand is coming from the lightest part, a yellow part where there may be great amounts of electricity in the air. And down below are mountains, beautiful in their layered patterns and roundness. This hand is offering you a pentacle. This pentacle is a symbol of the Earth itself. And in a way, it could also be seen as a mirror. This is you. You are the earth. The earth is you, and you can find comfort in this.

Connect as deeply as you can with this planet, with all the creatures that are here, and understand that you are not separate from any other being on this planet. Together you create the meaning of the word “earth.” You are also the Earth. You’re made from the elements of the earth: water, minerals, energy, and magic.

And so this card might feel similar to the Ten of Cups. This is an invitation to come home. It is a homecoming card, an offering to come home to yourself on this planet, to come home to your deepest knowledge and your most grounded self. This card is a sweet reminder that in this magnificent home, you are very much loved and very much a part of everything.

Plant and metal guidance:

Black walnut (dark and medium browns of pentacle and mountains; light brown in sky): The strength of our magic lies in our ability to clear space and provide opportunities for recharging and resetting.

Goldenrod (with copper oxide to create green mountains): Our tiny, golden, blossoms create needed halos around fields and open spaces. You can allow our energy to bring divine energy to your open spaces as well, to rest in your auras and to bring you light and hope.

Copper oxide (green/blue center of pentacle and painted over Goldenrod to create green mountains): I magnify the properties of whatever plants I touch or impact.

Coreopsis (golden yellow in sky): We are here to smooth out any sharp edges and to aid in opening hearts.

Wild grape (purple in sky): We are the bubbly magicians of the edges (of forests, our fields and our minds). We share with you our positivity, creativity and trickster capabilities.

Onion skin (light orange shadows on hand and wrist): We are a reminder of the layering of experience and self. Layering provides complexity and strength, and we invite you to celebrate your unfolding as you discover yourself and your connections to other beings.
